A note from the founders

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Yips started with two childhood best friends, Nate and Will, who picked up golf during COVID with no expectations.

Then, like a lot of golfers, we fell in love with it.

What started as something fun quickly turned into range sessions, weekend rounds, leagues, tournaments, and a constant chase to get a little better. After years of building ecommerce brands, we realized the thing we cared about most was golf — not just the game itself, but the laughs, the bad shots, the inside jokes, and the ridiculous things you hear on the course.

So we built Yips.

We wanted to bring a new light to golf apparel: clean, modern designs built around the funny terms, sayings, and moments that make golf so addicting. Our goal is simple — make premium golf gear that looks good, feels current, and does not take the game too seriously.
